News && Updates[edit]
- December 28, 2023 - We are delaying our classrooms building until roughly fall '24 due to building contractors shortages. If you want to say hi to us just write us an email.
- April 15, 2023 - We are still active and around. Our building procurement went well and if all goes well we should be fully operational by the end of this '23 year.
- October 6, 2022 - We are still alive, and still planning and moving forward with our makerspace. It takes time with real estate, but we're looking seriously into some good spots at the moment. Meanwhile, we've been building our own workshops and expanding the toolsets/equipment variety.
- March 23, 2022 - We are letting ourselves to be known as a planned educational makerspace on https://wiki.hackerspaces.org/Hackerspaces an informal volunteer network of such spaces as our own. Please if you have any questions keep the conversations and discussion flowing on our "The ThinkTank" convo.
- February 24, 2022 - The Horrors of war have woken our families, and children at 4:00 AM. Our prayers are with the Ukrainian people. We are here to stand with the truth and the freedom of democracy. "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" - shall persevere and echo throughout an eternity.
- December 25, 2021 - Merry Christmas fellow Arete.Studiers, 'tis a jolly time we'll have in next year. Our CNC/tools equipment procurement and repairs have been steadfastly improving. There's so much work to be done. The two offices we are trying to rent out from an owner is still in the negotiating process, the most feasible date we can rent them is by May or June 2022.
- November 10, 2021 - Greetings fellow Arete.Studiers. As per our discussions and work on "The ThinkTank" meetings, with great pleasure I would like to announce that I've created our landing page https://arete.study. Please bear in mind that every feature of the website is static on the front-end and the "newsletter subscribe" feature has been omitted its functionality to prevent any DDoS attacks. I know that we are simply 5 people who strive to learn and create a community to learn, make, explore, discover, improve... , but every journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.
