What I have filled in as details is of Vigyan Ashram which is located at Pabal, Pune in a rural setting and their new initiative DIY Lab which we want to register as a hackerspace as it is in Pune city to invite anyone who want to convert their ideas into realities. This Lab which takes in all the basic essential hardware and software tools which Instead of giving ‘ready made’ solutions to the people, encourages them to solve their problems on own by developing creativity and imagination by providing tools and mentor-ship.

We do not have a website, wikipage and FB page for our DIY Lab, Kothrud, Pune and we are working on it, but Vigyan Ashram as an organization is a very old one so all the details of online presence saved above is of Vigyan Ashram headquarter located at Pabal, Pune. Both this DIY lab in Pune and Vigyan Ashram headquarters at Pabal operations are carried out by Vigyan Ashram and for any project both places facilities are used as per requirement. DIY Lab has all the equipments and is in development phase, whereas Pabal is he headquarter and even hosts the first Fab Lab of India. We are trying to register our DIY Lab, Kothrud, Pune as a hackerspace. All the equipment's apart from Kitchen and Lasercutter are available at Kothrud, Pune facility as well.

About Vigyan Ashram: Vigyan Ashram is an organization working for the last three decades from Pabal, Pune in the field of "learning by doing" approach and work centric education through various initiatives and have many milestones on their name: Diploma in Basic Rural Technology (DBRT) 1 year Residential Program Having first Fab-Lab of India in collaboration with MIT, USA Introduction to basic Technology (IBT) programs in Schools Worked on different projects like Human power based lighting solution, LED lights, Egg incubator, Agri sensors etc. catering to local social requirements and many more.
