The Space[edit]

The Chaostreff Bern originally started out as a regular gathering in a restaurant, but we soon decided to rent some space at the Güterstrasse 8 in Bern. Since December 2018, we have our own space at Kyburgstrasse 13. Our rooms is about 100m² in size and offers tables and couches for discussion and hacking. We have a small kitchen, a hackcenter for meetings, workshops and presentations and a lab for silent work, repairing and making.

Our split-flap displays
  • We recently purchased a bunch of split-flap display modules from the Swiss Federal Railways and plan to build a display with them
