Wealth is a store of value that others agree upon. You can print your own dollars and make yourself a billionaire, but that doesn't equate to wealth (except perhaps in your own mind).

Our current economic system consumes more value than it creates -- churning the beauty of the Earth and the bodies of humans into labor. The primary product is trash and medical services for the diseases it causes which must be paid by you and me.

Further, the wealth of the US dollar only holds as long as the People uphold the principles of the system. Otherwise, it's just another piece of pretty paper.

Remember this and act accordingly.
