If players wish to cover large ground in one sessions, they will need to have food. Often ignored in gameplay because it seems useless, this is the cost for travel of long distances. The trip-over point is set at 10 miles per one go. They'll have to go hunting for it or plan ahead. A night spend camping and preserving any game should be sufficient for a day.
