Let's face it. Going to yoga class with all the chic you can muster isn't going to fix the world. "Glowing" just doesn't cut it for those in prison, on reservations, or in wheelchairs from your decrepit culture of excess.
Science has the same problems as religion: both favor their own methods. Only through expanding both can the way forward be found.
So, there's plenty to do. Like cleaning up our cities, forming community food options (like co-operative kitchens), community work spaces (like a hackerspace), etc. Living simply, so that others can simply live.
