Psionic energy is an alternative source of magic whereby the yang force which is supposed to be inside the yin, becomes dominant. The Mage Wars have settled the manner in order to ensure the continuation of the human race. Mana is the energy that is balanced for males to use, while the psionic energy will remain with the womb of woman to use as she chooses or for the creation of new life.

What remains of psionics is now called "somatics": the body postures used to draw energy from the power from within the magic-user`s bones -- a self-limited solution, as the user will naturally wish to minimize the damage to themselves.

Only one exception is: elves. As they belong to a different sphere of existence, thier use of psionics draws from their own realm.
