One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them... --J.R.R.Tolkein, Lord of the Rings.

Hello, adventurer! Here be the final conclusion to the legacy of Dungeons and Dragons. Sauron has been turned into hog worms, and now we can unite the world of Middle Earth with that of Dungeons and Dragons to make a complete role-playing system.

Middle Earth is that world created by the master J.R.R.Tolkein with the Lord of the Rings and his earlier book The Hobbit.

The world will continue in the game universe and with whatever you can successfully bring into your own. For this, Version 6 has been crafted and in the process of completion. Be sure to update yourself on the new knowledge of the multiverse.

Middle Earth is where it began for many, others connected via the game by TSR Hobbies. In any event, Tolkein's universe sits in between the First and Third of the Ages of the Realms, after the Mage Wars left the world in ruins, Middle Earth became that world re-built with friendly Hobbits to smooth things along. In the process of protecting the world from annihilation from the immature but powerful mages, the gods had to fortify the realms and new mountains sprang up in the middle of the realms and some old ones got higher. What left is the remnant of a Mage who some say was innocent: Sauron.
