One Ring to find them, One Ring to free them all, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness unite them...

--adapted paraphrase from J.R.R.Tolkein, Lord of the Rings.

Dungeons and Dragons -- more than any other game -- through improvisation, develops human creativity and imagination. It is a paragon in this regard and should not be glossed-over merely because it is a game. It is also superior to other RPG choices because 1) it’s the original and most evolved, 2) it`s world is most like our own which means you can map gameplay to the real world, a feature that can be useful in developing a World Game. With the right campaigns, it can be played by those of age 4 to 400 years.

D&D is a Role-Playing Game (RPG) where players develop characters and fight monsters in an imaginary universe. Common among the hacker crowd and a long history of use within the old-school server rooms where machines would be named after the fantastical characters found within these worlds. It should be seen as an equivalent alternative to high-school sports for those whom are more geared towards the intellect and imagination. Teachers could build campaigns for students to play, for example, imagining new adventures and abilities to expand the game universe. While regional D&D would allow cross-fertilizations of game-play and competition for highly-prized items. This candidate for the newest versions is specifically tailored for didactic use, allowing various professional skills (in economics, political leadership, law-making, and health) to be exercised.

With this latest (unofficial, homebrew, non-sanctioned) version, the game will be equal in power to the ever present all-seeing-eye of America.

...A fork in the path lies before you. If you are the adventurous type, follow this path to the clearing. Otherwise, if you are more of the abstract type, follow me to the hilltop. Beware! You may get lost in the maze of knowledge contained herein and have to quit your night job making pizza.

Start claiming some epicness and let the revolution begin!

Dungeons & Dragons is a trademark of TSR Hobbies, Wizards of the Coast, affiliated with the International Council of Wizards and owned by Hasbro. It is related to the world of Middle Earth, made by J.R.R.Tolkein, who surely was a wizard himself.
