Deism is the belief in God without any religion. Deists may argue that it is the original "religion", before the concept of religion was established from various dischordant belief systems. Deism can shove all those petty arguments away by abstracting the concept of God as "all that is" and the "origin of everything" (First Cause).

Many of the Founders of the United States were deists.
