This race (sometimes spelled with a "k" rather than a "q") emerged out of nowhere as pygmies about the time of the fallen Lords that first built Faerun. They were few in number and were refugees from a farway island that suffered a dramatic collapse after several conflicts that happened there. How they got here become unknown as a hundred generations passed since then, but they grew into the size of the Faeruni through continued association. They didn't have written word and the dances that kept their history were mostly lost as they had to adapt to the ways of the rough-hewn territory of the Sword Coast.

Their main trait is "survivor" and splits into subtypes of either defiant or easy-going (good names not yet available). They are almost the opposite of the faerun,
