Assemblage (ASM) is the ability to apply focus and through intention create new value from lesser elements. If ASM is zero, player loses ability with their appendages and fumbles all objects. ASM is also needed for the ability to write, and especially for writing scrolls or spells with magical power.

Useful for crafting potions, handling the complexity of a clock, or making enchantable weapons (where it saves time). A good cook can create about anything palatable given some ingredients--that's assemblage. Just as strength is affiliated with fighters, this ability is affiliated with druids.

Assemblage proficiency increases with practice.

DM notes:

  • +ASM: practice on fine skill or greater potions-making, praying if feywild.
  • -ASM: forgetting techniques/recipes, mishandling of elementals.
  • If 0: player loses ability with their appendages and fumbles all objects (implies can't write).
