Rebels Makerspace was created to help students and staff at Burnaby South Secondary School develop their ideas into actual products. We believe every person has an innate desire to make - to build. Unfortunately, not everyone has access to a garage full of tools, a semi-professional workshop, or a batcave. Thus, Rebels Makerspace provides individuals with both high tech (ie. CNC) and low-tech (lots and lots of cardboard, fabric, glue guns) to get their creations built. We also host weekly, lunch-hour workshops to develop a stronger community within our makerspace.

We believe the next James Dyson, Elon Musk, or Tony Stark is in our midst, and we want to make sure they have the right tools to make the next great vacuum (or Iron Man suit).
