BKLP is the remnant of an experimental merger engaged in april 2014 at la Caserne between two hacklabs:
- Le Loop, nomadic by iterating from squat to squat;
- La BlackBoxe, mainly oriented toward digital arts.
Surrrounding it, an other one was taking place: the cohabitation of la Gare XP, le Loop's former host, and le Jardin d'Alice, two multidisciplinary collectives. At the end, some of us chose to stay with le Jardin d'Alice (our host at that time) in their following headquarters, smoothly trying to adapt our infrastructure and our practices to their ecological sensibility. A seductive challenge in perspective.
We're now at Montreuil, an active city since years where we feel just like 127.0.0.2.
