Mitch Altman is co-founder of Noisebridge (hacker space in San Francisco, inventor of TV-B-Gone universal remote controls (to help people enjoy turning off TVs in public places), author of The Brain Machine project article in MAKE Magazine #10 (to help people enjoy chilling out, meditating, and tripping out), author of the Hacker Perspective column in the Summer-2007 issue of 2600, appears on Off The Hook (a weekly hacker radio show by 2600) when in New York City, teaches people to solder all over the world, and gives talks at hacker conferences and schools around the world about such topics as media literacy, how to make cool things with microcontrollers, and encouraging people to make time in their lives to explore what they love.
