Currently we have a room in the EE (EE102) building of the university that is restricted for use to only staff and students of the University of Newcastle.
Passing an OH&S Quiz is required for admission to the space, due to safety rules that are in place by the university.
Resources[edit]
Our Makerspace is continually adding equipment and parts for the members to use, at the moment we have:
- Two oscilloscopes
- Soldering equipment
- Several power supplies
- PCB prototyping mill
- Computers
- Laser Printer
- Fridge
- Storage facilities and lockers.
- Projector
- Textbook library
- Whiteboard
Several high-end computers with dual monitors, additional testing equipment (such as function generators etc), are proposed to further expand the tools available to our members.
We have a mailing list for anyone not with the university as a point of contact for a external space.

There is also a proposal for a public makerspace in Newcastle that will be accessible to the general public.
