Okay as of Dec 29 2008. Form fields for callsign and fcc_class_id have been added to the Person form / template. fcc_class_id is currently US centric in that it is designed to accept FCC granted license classifications for amateur operators. The correct possibly entries for this field are "Technician", "General", and "Extra". Feel free to make it more robust. Currently these will link to a wiki page describing the Classes.

Callsign is your ULS callsign.
