Radical transparency

Radical transparency is a management method where nearly all decision making is carried out publicly. The idea is central to the open source and open content movements. In websites such as Wikipedia, almost every action taken by a user is permanently logged and visible to every other user (Wikipedia does make some exceptions for deleted articles and other administrative actions). One of the basic principles of hackerspaces is "openness in everything," which is inclusive of the concept of radical transparency.
