This event was organized by Andrew Coy of the White Houses' Office of Science and Technology Policy. He invited makerspace organizers from all over the country to come together and discuss our common issues, encourage more collaboration and networking, and highlight ways that government funds and grants can be obtained to help spaces grow and flourish. The end of this meeting resulted in large groups of organizers being formed.
