FabLab is a relatively new hackerspace. It is housed at the University of Aarhus - Herning, and is currently comprised of mostly electronic design engineer students studying at the university.

The idea for establishing a hackerspace was concucted at a seminar on how to make it more exciting to be a student and a teacher at the university. The hope was that some of the projects devised at the hackerspace would bring new knowledge to the university and into the class rooms.
