Now up and running, the Erie Makerspace is a collaborative workshop and creative think tank for projects, community awareness, and general awesomeness. If you live in the Erie, PA area and want to get involved, please contact us at our website or Facebook page. The goal of Erie Makerspace is yet to be fully defined, while each member has their own projects. The group as a whole comes together on occasion for larger projects that may have bigger social or community impact.

If you want to learn more, it's easy, just stop by our weekly meeting on Wednesdays at 6pm in the Union Station building.

We want to make the Erie Makerspace a community workshop co-op (hobby club) which functions as a place where people around Erie can share ideas, help each other on projects, build interesting things, and have fun.

The Erie Makerspace will probably be geared toward robotics, electronics, computers and networking, wood and metal working, and device prototyping and fabrication from the start, but will most likely branch out to many other areas of creative activities.

Please help us spread the word to people who you think might like to help out. Anyone is welcome, but we are especially interested in involving people who have artistic, technical, and administrative backgrounds.
