Hello fellow hackers! The Vintage Computer Festival is a celebration of computing technology from pre-industrial days through the 1980s. VCF has two parts -- mornings are lectures, workshops, and special events; while afternoons are exhibits. Among this year's special events are an 8-bit music concert. In the exhibit hall, it's similar to a car show, except that everything is turned on. There are also prizes, contests, etc. Details are frequently updated at http://www.vintage.org/2009/east/. The price is $10 for one day, or $15 for both days. 17 and younger get in free. Parking is free.
