theClubhou.se is a non-profit 501(c)3 community whose mission is to inspire ideas, create companies, and build community by connecting learners and leaders in technology, business, and design. Located in the historic Old Richmond Academy, built in 1802, we have 18,000sf of space to experiment, prototype, cowork, and incubate ideas into companies. Our members range the spectrum of software, robotics, cyber, designers, teachers, students, startups, soldiers, and retirees.

What do we have? Our biggest asset is our community. Other than the people and startups, we are also partnered with the Advanced Technology Development Center at Georgia Tech to help members commercialize the tech they create with mentorships and access to capital. We have a prototyping lab with a desktop CNC, several 3D printers for PLA, ABS, and some exotics, an injection molding machine, lots of soldering stations, and a well appointed computer lab. We also have wood shop with most of the standard equipment, and we have an awesomely precise coffee machine for true coffee snobs.

What is the cost? Many of our events are open to the public and part time memberships start at $20/month. Students and active duty soldiers get full time memberships for $49/month and we can work out service trades in some cases. Standard full time memberships range from $100-$500 depending on whether you hot desk, reserve a desk, or get a private locked room.

Best first time to visit? Any hackathon is good, check http://meetup.com/hackaugusta Most Wednesdays at 5:30pm we host Beer & Bytes so that everyone in the community can share a drink, an idea, or both. If you're looking to build a startup, Founders Circle is every Wednesday morning at 9am
