Regular Events[edit]

Open Make Night[edit]

Tuesdays 6 PM - ? Every Tuesday except the first Tuesday of each month, we open our doors to the public and get together to build some cool projects and meet some very cool people. Join us to work on your stuff, bounce ideas off of members, check out the 3D printers and socialize. Occasionally, we'll throw in a small workshop or class. This is our best attended event and is a great opportunity to see what we do and meet our community.

Family Open Make[edit]

Sundays 1 – 4 PM Join us on Sunday Afternoons twice monthly for crafts, electronics and technology projects, Minecraft, programming activities and more! Every month, we’ll have a new theme and a host of new activities geared towards elementary and middle school students. Space is limited so RSVP on Meetup.com to reserve a spot.

CORE Training Series[edit]

Learn all the tips and tricks in our series of core classes. Each month, we teach soldering, basic circuits, and Arduino to help you start on your own projects. Each class is taught using a project that you build and take home at the end of the class. You can see the exact schedule and RSVP on our Meetup page.

Aerial Drone Workshop[edit]

4th Saturday 1 PM Join us for our monthly meet & tweak meetup. Our resident experts will be on hand for guidance and to help you get your bird in the air. We have soldering stations, work benches & tools. Whether you are an FPV aficionado, are into aerial photography, or fly for fun, the Tampa Hackerspace is the “goto” venue for pilots and builders.

Homebrew Computer Club[edit]

Alternate Fridays 7 PM We're building 16-bit TTL based computers loosely based on Ben Eater's 8 bit design. Join in the fun and build your own or just come by and see how much computing you can accomplish on a breadboard!

Microcontroller Monthly Meetup (M3)[edit]

3rd Saturday 2 PM Join us at M3 for a project presentation, work on your projects, and chat with fellow enthusiasts about life, the universe, and everything. We cover the usual suspects such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi but often delve into other platforms and topics like PIC, ARM, IoT, FPGA, and more. You never know what you'll see!

Sewing Sundays[edit]

4 PM Every other week, we host a sewing workshop led by our resident textile engineer (I just made that title up). Bring your own sewing machine or use of ours. You may learn basic and advanced skills at your own pace. It’s a fun way to learn a skill or just practice and socialize in a group setting.

e-Nable Meetup[edit]

Held. Needs a sponsoring member. 7 PM We have a substantial e-Nable community we host monthly to help children around the world obtain inexpensive but useful prosthetic hands. This is an open meetup and free for anyone to attend.
