Talk:Southern Arizona Technology Lab
Starting a Hacker Space Creative Community that combines Think Tank + Fab Lab + Research Facility:
Seed Group - Still in the process of recruiting local partner(s) & people to get it back in place as a public space; If you want to be involved, please contact PABlo at the3rdparty dot co.
Place for the Lab - Investigating possible locations, intentionally steering away from existing University or Business ties. We'll need a space, power, servers, connectivity, and privacy. Details will be provided as information becomes available.
Infrastructure - RE-Development of website, etc. to commence immediately. Monthly Meetings to be scheduled a.s.a.p. --PhoenixBird 20:07, 28 December 2008 (CET)

UPDATE: The Day After
SATL Members Meet For First Time
Yesterday afternoon, SATL members met & discussed the purpose of our group, and tossed around ideas about how to progress further. Our agenda included sharing of technical (& other disciplines) experiences & backgrounds, some reading material, & some general information related to hackerspaces, MAKE, and other DIY communities. We're all in agreement that workshops are desirable, so we discussed possible workshop topics, as well as other projects. The new website will document more details, so if you are looking to get involved, please be sure to visit and register to leave your comments and suggestions. --PhoenixBird 10:15, 10 May 2009 (MST)
