About us

Hackerspace/Makerspace hybrid at Aschaffenburg, Bavaria. Established 2015. We started out with a 72 square meter space located in a office building in Knodestr. 3 and moved to our current larger location at the end of 2017. We have some computing and networking stuff, 3 well-equipped electronics workplaces, up to 9 laptop workplaces, a lounge with a comfy sofa, gaming area with video projector for several classic game consoles, about 3 running meters of all-purpose workbench, amateur radio station DF0HSB, and a shared kitchen, o-scopes, soldering irons, 3d printer, Club Mate and a quite big junk box of parts...

Location

Aschaffenburg is a small town east of Frankfurt, our physical address is Dorfstraße 1, 63741 Aschaffenburg-Damm.

Consider it worth a trip :-)

Our rooms are reasonably close to the main station (10 minute walk), with some gastronomy around us. Limited parking spaces.

Activities

As of January 2017:

  • Open Space every tuesday, beginning at 20:00
  • regular meetings at a 2-week interval
  • Linux user group meetings monthly on last sunday of the month

We are loosely networked with the local radio club, the youth center and other groups.

Snail mail address is really only for snail mail. That means, don't even consider ringing. Really. We mean it.
