Perthshire Creates acts as a regional creative skills and events directory, and has teamed up with A.K. Bell Library in Perth to create a Makerspace which is free to all Perthshire library card holders. This is a new makerspace which has been founded as part of the library. As such, it is kitted out with the latest equipment, but it is restricted to library opening hours. Since the space is unsuitable for heavy or noisy work, it works in conjunction with such spaces as Create At NEST and others listed at http://perthshirecreates.co.uk/spaces-resources/ .

The space has started out with an A0 printer, an Ultimaker 3D printer and a HP design-desk PC with 3D scanner, along with several other useful items.
