The MindsHub association[edit]

MindsHub APS is a no profit association providing a space for enthusiasts to develop skills and ideas in informatics, electronics, robotics, 3D printing and radios. Everything started back in 2016, when we organized CoderDojo Vallagarina to introduce young boys and girls to programming. The association has since grown to have multiple running projects, and over 20 active members, aging 12 years old and up. We meet once a week on Saturday afternoon to learn from each other and bring the activities forward.

Projects[edit]

  • Cyberorto: an autonomous farming robot, featured at Maker Faire Rome among the best 10 projects
  • Insigno: a FOSS app to report and collect garbage, available on F-Droid, Play Store and Apple Store
  • RadioALA: a web radio
  • Collaboration with schools:
    • with the "Navigare Sicuri" initiative we delved into online security with young students
    • we spoke to Samantha Cristoforetti on the ISS via radio [1]
