Makr is a Helsinki-based makerspace for creatives, makers and doers who like to build, invent, learn new skills and expand their minds. We are open during regular branch hours and offer incredible technology and equipment for the public to create on.

We aim to foster a community of makers and doers by providing an environment in terms of people, equipment and space that supports the creative process and personal growth. In our space you’ll find people into various fields such as electronics, robots, embedded software, art, videography, photography, printing and much more. We’ve found that having such people pursuing their interests in close proximity to one another leads to a lot of personal satisfaction and discovery, productivity and even amazing collaborative projects. The power to design the future is no longer just in the hands of big corporations or manufacturing firms.
