We are a few people in the Seattle area that are looking to get a space going, probably in the northern part of town. We currently try to meet on Tuesday nights at 7PM at Assembly Hall (2121 6th Ave, Seattle). Please join the discussion group/mailinglist and introduce yourself if you are interested in learning more and meeting the group.
Looking to start a laid back, not-for-profit, cooperative style, hackerspace in a medium/heavy industrial spot once we have enough people to pull the trigger.
Planned tools: laser cutter, 3D printers, mills, lathes etc.
Previously started MAG Laboratory in Pomona, CA and are aiming to create something similar here. http://www.maglaboratory.org/
