Kwartzlab is a hackerspace in Kitchener, Ontario. Our members have a wide range of backgrounds from electronics, programming, wood & metal working, robotics, crafting and more. We opened our doors and hit the ground running October 1st 2009 and haven't stopped since. In February 2019 we moved into our best space yet, on Bedford Rd in Kitchener.

- ~9,116 sqft of space split into multiple areas: 3D printing, Electronics, Laser Cutting, Metal Shop (Blacksmithing, Grinding/Welding, Machining, Jewellery), Pottery, Textiles, Which Craft? (leather work, arts and crafts, silk screening, vinyl cutting, stained glass, and so much more!), Woodshop + Layup Area, Bike Repair, CNC Router (wood), Front Room/Event Space, Kitchen, Private Member Studios, Shared Member Studio, Member Storage, Lockers, and more!
- 24×7 access and on-site project storage for members
- Tonnes of work tables
- Smoking fast wifi

- 80W Laser Cutter (G. Weike), 80W Laser Cutter (Mako), 2x 40W Laser Cutter (Mako) (being commissioned)
- 4 x BambuLabs P1S 3D Printers
- 4x4' CNC Router
- Sienci Longmill CNC Router
- 3 x Dedicated electronics bench w/soldering stations, o-scope, logic analyzer, etc.
- Well-equipped Textiles area (sewing machines, looms, embroidery machine, serger, and more)
- Metalworking area with Brake/shear, Bridgeport Mill, Southbend metal lathe, MIG welding equipment, and a CNC mill
- Woodworking area with large saws, wood lathe, table saw, jointer, planer, routers & drill presses
- Even more power tools!
