This event is only open to Java beginners with no professional experience.

It's the first Noob-athon at the San Jose Learning Center! The Noob-athon is a free event where attendees will break into groups and be given a test program. Teams will collaboratively write the class. Experienced users will be on hand to answer questions and help ease the transition from noob to rook. The main objective of this event is to learn with other enthusiastic newbies.

San Jose Learning Center is a professional place where adults can take language, fitness and special interest classes during the evenings and weekends. The 2-story facility is located minutes from downtown San Jose and just off the 280 and 87 freeways; also, walking distance from San Jose Diridon Caltrain station. SJLC only hires quality instructors with experience in teaching classes in a fun and effective manner. Our small class sizes allow for important one-on-one interaction with the instructors and other classmates.
