HackerSchool was founded in the first semester of 2012 by a small group of students and a teacher, all from Instituto Superior Técnico, Portugal.

HackerSchool is an academic non-profit association that promotes vocational and technological development adapted to the university context on subjects such as Electronics, Computer Science, CAD, etc. . It commands itself through the motto "break. learn. build.", adopting a learning-positive view, embracing free and open source distribution of code, hardware and documentation.

All you need to join us is the will to learn and create freely.
