FredWorks is the Fredericksburg Virginia 501(c)3 non-profit Hackerspace & Makerspace. We focus on STEM outreach and have been meeting regularly at a private school, hosting an Open Hack Night every Monday.

Our classes have been on Arduino and electronics, though we would like to host more classes of all types.

Check out our calendar of events at http://www.meetup.com/FredWorks/

As of December 2014, we signed a agreement with a local Private school to have access to one of their rooms any time the school isn't in session. This gives us access to approximately 1000 Sq Ft of space to host meetings, classes and work on projects.

We incorporated in August of 2013 as a VA non stock corporation and plan recieved our federal 501(c)(3) non-profit status in February 2015. Check out our website for more information or to contact us.
