Fablab Chemnitz is the main project of Stadtfabrikanten e.V. Our goal is to encourage people to work together on projects, ideas and innovations. For this purpose, we create and share knowledge about tools and methods of digitally supported and analog production. We form around topics such as machine-controlled manufacturing, traditional crafts or general technology issues in society. We screw together, develop, test, tinker, mix and try things out. We are part of the maker community and live this in very different material dimensions: 3D printing, wood, metal, plastic, textile, electronics, analog and digital, and much more.
