This group brings together IT security professionals, engineers, technicians and anyone else who wants to make a positive change in our community through the use of Science and Technology.

We are convinced that it is possible to achieve the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, using technologies that break established norms. Putting innovation in front position is our approach.

Pope Francis Laudato Si’ encyclical echoes the same messages and call for essentially the same outcomes: The system is broken. It needs to be hacked.

Both Pope Francis and the United Nations provide guidelines for how we can do things differently, more creatively, more effectively. Now, it’s up to all of us to follow through and take action.

We Code for Peace, to Transform Lives and Protect the Planet. We Hack Poverty. Welcome to FIH Gigatron
