Some people in Edinburgh are trying to form a new hackerspace / community cafe. We would like to be a cafe, as in serve food and coffee to the public, and provide a space for events, socialising, and working, rooted in hacker culture. We aim to be an inclusive, queer, anarchist space.
So far we have had some meetings working out what we want to do, and trying to establish the community and culture. We don't have a space yet and are probably some time off getting it, but if this sounds like something you are interested in please join us on IRC, the mailing list, and real life.
While we don't have a space, we are still running events in other spaces.
