PDX Hackerspace is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community space that was founded in 2014. Originally named CTRLH (or ^H), as an homage to 'Backspace', one of the early Internet cafes in Portland, we changed our name to PDX Hackerspace in 2015 to be more muggle friendly. That said, if you're reading this, you may call it either, fellow hacker. Most of us have taken to calling our 5000ft² back lot CTRLH, but we're not really into labels, so call it whichever you prefer.

Like so many other Hackerspaces, many of our members volunteer their time to help others start Hackerspaces in their local area. If this is you, please feel free to get in touch on our website: https://pdxhackerspace.org

Our Hackerspace is nearly fully functional. If there are any Hackerspace capabilities you're wondering about, feel free to get in touch (also through our website).
