This makerspace located within the Seaworks Maritime Precinct is a partnership project between Seaworks and Hobsons Bay City Council.

The Creative Technology Hub (CTH) is funded by Gandel Philanthropy and the State Government’s Living Libraries Fund, with additional sponsorship from Toyota, Raeco, AVJennings and Here Studio.

The CTH team work alongside library staff using technology and a ‘play to learn’ model as a hook into learning.

Programs and activities will focus on STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics – essential 21st century skills to provide opportunities to skill up, re-skill and obtain new employment opportunities.
